Shoulder Scales
Enlisted, Segmented brass. Exact copies of originals. American made and
they look it. Segmented brass with the correct backing and slide attachment.

Ordnance Sergeant chevrons can only
be Maroon Tape.
Color Sergeant and Medical Stewards are as shown.
All others are by Army, Branch and Rank.
Ordnance
Sergeant Chevrons. The Ordnance Department assigned one Sergeant under
their branch to each Regiment. The Ordnance Sgt was identified with three stripes
down and a star above the stripes. The branch color was maroon or wine.
A Regiment would not have their own branch Ordnance Sgt, so this insignia in
branch colors (Blue, Yellow, Red) would not be appropriate.
Backing is Dark Blue for US, and Med Grey for CS..............................................................$20.00

Color Sergeant Chevrons. Light Blue wool mohair braid for Infantry Color
Sergeants. As shown, US has crossed US Flags, CS has crossed Confederate First
National Flags.
Embroidery is hand done and these look sharp.
Confederate Color Sgt Chevrons are only available on grey wool backing at
this time. Other colors could be had by special order, much like our custom

Pioneer Chevrons. The pioneers wore a distinctive insignia on their shoulder,
Crossed Axes. We have had customers request these in Blue for Infantry and Red
for Artillery. No one has asked for Cavalry yellow, yet, but we have it as an
option. Blue and Red are usually in stock, we will have to make yellow if requested.
This is a US chevron, and the backing is Dark Blue. For CS applications, we
can use the standard wools, or send in your wool and we can make the chevron
